PVL ignition

Hi all I have a Villiers 210 11E Upton top end with PVL ignition how do I set it up please I have turned it over with a cordless drill but have no spark at the plug it is not fitted to the chassis yet any help would be welcome thanks Jimmy

Is it earthed ? the small wire on the coil must earth the bracket of the coil and an earth lead to the engine is needed

Thank you for that Bob I will do that and see what happens will the cordless drill be ok or would it need to be more rpm :?: thanks again Jimmy

if you have spun it over without a plug in the cap or without an earth to the engine,pvl hates this and usually ruins the coil sorry.pvl does like to have about 800rpm to get a good spark aswell cheers Paul

Thanks Paul thankfully I did have the plug in the cap and earthed and after your's and bob's forum help got a brilliant Spark Thanks again Regards Jimmy

Hi Paul is it possible to rig up a kill switch and if the red wire from the coil is part of that thanks in advance if you can help regards jimmy F
