Llandow Track Day Report 2013
Posted: 12 Apr 2013, 00:46
Hi all
An enjoyable day was had by all, weather remained dry and sunny and we did get some warm periods- definitely better than earlier in the week! Great atmosphere all day with plenty of spectators and visitors. Everyone also had plenty of track time and the system having time exclusive for novices beginners worked okay especially as we have some new members out for the first time.
Ed Hocking restoration of his latest Dale/Villiers is on the website and out for the first time, it went as good as it looks and Gwyn Powell had his Barlotti/Villiers sorted. Ann Guest and Kayley Mizen (two of our lady members) also had a good time, and there are reports that Ann did so many laps her engine needs a rebore!
However the test day was needed by other people, Brian Jordan was still having problems with the Zip Martin but he did get some laps in which is an improvement on Blackbushe last year and Daniel Stephens struggled all day with his Ital/Parilla S13 but of course there was plenty of help on hand to get thers problems sorted.
My thanks to llandow and the marshalls for hosting another great day.
