Shenington Revival and Reunion June 13-15th 2014
Posted: 07 May 2014, 15:22
hi all
For those visitors looking at site, the Shenington Revival and Renunion was the start of historic karting the UK and has been going since 2000. It started with a few karts doing a few laps in the lunch hour of Shenington's Superprix meeting, but has now developed into major part of the event and become a large and impressive event in the karting calendar. Around 100 karts turn up for the event along with loads of many well-known ex-karters and although the karts will be on track, it has become a big social and the BHKC's annual concours event. Members of the late Jack Barlow's family attend to present the trophies.
it is a great event atmosphere all weekend but Saturday goes well into the evening with a hog roast and live music, tickets are available on the day at the circuit.
Entrance costs and directions/postcode are on Shenington Kart Club's website, http://www.sheningtonkrc.co.uk otherwise contact one of our committee members.
