Sheningtion Revival Meeting 2017
Posted: 10 Jul 2017, 17:39
hi all
We have spoken to loads of people at such meetings as the Bicester flywheel meeting, Mallery park motorsport meeting and the Cadwell kart GP so for the visitors looking at site, the Shenington Revival and Reunion is on over 14th= 16th July 2017.
This revival meeting the start of historic karting the UK and has been going since 2000. It started with a few karts doing a few laps in the lunch hour of Shenington's Superprix meeting, but has now developed into major part of the event and become a large and impressive event in the karting calendar. Around 100 karts + turn up for the event along with loads of many well-known ex-karters and although the karts will be on track, it has become a big social and the BHKC's annual concours event. Members of the late Jack Barlow's family attend to present the trophies.
It is a great event atmosphere all weekend but Saturday goes well into the evening with a hog roast and live music, tickets are available on the day at the circuit.
Gates open at 9-00 am (for public). Entrance costs and directions/postcode are on Shenington Kart Club's website, otherwise contact one of our committee members. postcode is 0X15 6NW. There will be more details on our facebook page.
it really is the place to find out about historic karting, see the potential and the fun and find a kart!
Brian Malin - Secretary BHKC.
