Which chain size for gearbox kart

I'm wondering what's the usual setup for 1974, 250cc engine drive to axle... using a 520 chain or 428 chain...?

Hi in most instances on road karts we use a 428 or 428H(heavy duty) chain,in a few cases a duplex chain is used. Locally the grass karts that race near us have used 520 chain but the problem is getting rear sprockets to match. I can supply rear sprockets and carriers if that is of any help. Cheers Dave
