Just managed to remove a couple of needle roller bearings from my Blow Victor steering column tube. There is one pressed into each end so you can't get behind either of them to push them out.
Searching the 'net it seemed the tool required was a Blind Hole Bearing Puller but I discovered by reading a few blogs that you can use an anchor bolt to grip the bearing then pull it out.
Worked for me at a cost of £1.24
I did have to reduce the diameter a little with a file so it would pass through the needles. Hence the jubilee clips holding the sides together.
