Hi all
Someone mentioned they had a fuel problem at Race Reto and I found this article I did some time back for the newsletter. It is on fuel probelems relating to gravity feed. There may be some points useful to the Villiers people and those with fuel pumps.

Re: Fuel Problems
Many thanks Brian,
At least that gives me a starting point. I had already spotted and read you article on fuel flow, very informative, thank you, especially as I do have a square tank.
I have already tested the fuel flow to the carburettor as detailed in the "Villiers Improvements Handbook" and I'm getting about 325-350cc per minute of petrol flowing from the float chamber drain plug with the tank half full. This compares with their recommendation of 250cc per minute for a moderately tuned Villiers 9E, so hopefully this should be enough.
Many thanks once again for your help,
Kind regards
John
